Western Kentucky
University contracted with DDS
ENGINEERING,
PLLC to prepare boundary and topographic
surveys for properties comprising over two full city
blocks adjacent to the campus for eventual use in
creating new parking areas and a Greek Village complex.
Several existing rock retaining walls and fences
complicated the topography and the boundary
descriptions, as did the existing utilities
infrastructure. DDS
ENGINEERING,
PLLC performed the
field and courthouse research, field reconnaissance,
boundary and topographic surveys, office calculations,
plat drawings and deed descriptions for these tracts.
DDS
ENGINEERING,
PLLC has recently completed civil
engineering and landscape design for an improved parking
lot at the North Campus, as shown in these sketches.
DDS
ENGINEERING,
PLLC also prepared the civil
engineering design for the first fraternity house to be
built on "Fraternity Row". Completed in 2007, the the
Sigma Alpha Epsilon (SAE) is the first of several Greek
residence houses planned for this area.
