USACE Validation
for
DDS
Construction Materials Testing Laboratory

Since 2018, DDS' Materials Testing Laboratory has been continuously accredited by the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) Accreditation Program (AAP).  The AAP is the largest and most recognized accrediting body of construction materials testing laboratories.  The accreditation program scope includes on-site assessment and evaluation of our Quality Management System, personnel qualifications, and demonstration of test methods.  On-site assessments  performed by AASHTO include re:Source and ASTM’s Cement and Concrete Reference Laboratory (CCRL).  The accreditation program also requires laboratories to participate in AASHTO re:Source and CCRL proficiency testing programs as a means of monitoring the continued performance of a laboratory.

This accreditation formally recognizes the competency of our staff, equipment, and procedures used to perform several soils, aggregate, and concrete test methods.  This accreditation also demonstrates a commitment to our clients to provide quality testing services with reliable results. Based on the AASHTO Accreditation Program results, DDS has also been validated by the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Validation Program.  A full listing of our USACE validated methods can be found here.  Simply search for "DDS" to review our status.
